Dovbush (UKR)
These are dark times: in the 18th century there is a tyranny of the Polish nobility and the brothers Oleska and Ivan Dovbush are forced to flee to the Carpathian mountains. From there, they plan their revenge on those who killed their parents. Ivan is after money, while Oleska fights for justice, and they end up on opposite sides. Oleksa leads the rebel army and outsmarts the oppressors time and time again. Thus the legend of the Carpathian knight Dovbush, which continues to inspire generations later, was born.
